George JAGO (1889-1951)

George JAGO, son of Francis JAGO (1857-1936) and Frances Sarah SCREECH (1856-1903), was born in 1889 in Kingsand, Cornwall. He appeared in the census in 1901 in Kingsand aged 11. The address was: Fore Street. He appeared in the census on 2 April 1911 in Cawsand, Cornwall aged 29.1 The address was: Garrett Sreet. On 2 April 1911 he was a Labourer General in Cawsand.1 He married Frances Maria COLLINS on 19 August 1918 in Belfast, Ireland. He died on 3 October 1951 in Kingsand. He was buried on 6 October 1951 in Maker, Cornwall.


Frances Maria COLLINS was born on 7 July 1894 in Drummagoon, Armargh. She died in 1967. She was buried on 21 October 1967 in Maker. She and George JAGO had the following children:


George Henry JAGO (1919-1920). George was born in 1919 in Kingsand.2 He was baptised on 14 November 1919. He died in 1920. He was buried on 31 January 1920.

William Henry JAGO (1921- ). William was born on 27 January 1921. He married Annie Elizabeth CARTER on 4 November 1944 in Torpoint, Cornwall.

Kenneth John JAGO (1922-1945). Kenneth was born in 1922. He married Margaret Vera EDWARDS Q1 1942 in Holsworthy, Devon.3 He died on 26 April 1945 in Saltau, Germany aged 23. The address was: 5 Btn DCLI. Killed In action.

Frederick George JAGO (1926- ). Frederick was born in 1926 in Kingsand.4
