Fanny SCREECH (1856-1903)

Frances Sarah SCREECH (known as 'Fanny'), daughter of Henry SCREECH (1825-1886) and Mary UNKOWN (1829- ), was born in 1856 in Millbrook, Cornwall. She appeared in the census on 7 April 1861 in Millbrook aged 5.1 The address was: West Street. On 7 April 1861 she was a Scholar in Millbrook aged 5.2 She appeared in the census on 2 April 1871 in Millbrook aged 15.3 The address was: West Street. On 2 April 1871 she was a Scholar in Millbrook aged 15.4 She appeared in the census on 3 April 1881 in Millbrook aged 24.5 The address was: West Street. She married Francis JAGO on 19 April 1881 in Stoke Damerel, Plymouth. She appeared in the census in 1901 in Kingsand, Cornwall aged 45. The address was: Fore Street. She died on 15 February 1903 in Kingsand.

 

Francis JAGO, son of Nathaniel JAGO (1801-1861) and Martha SPRIDDLE (1816-1890), was born Q1 1857 in Kingsand. He appeared in the census in 1871 in Kingsand aged 14. The address was: Back Street. Scholar. Francis appeared in the census in 1881 in Kingsand aged 24. The address was: Cleave. Fisherman. In 1891 Francis was a Fisherman in Kingsand. He appeared in the census in 1901 in Kingsand aged 44. The address was: Fore Street. Asphalters Labourer (Road). Francis appeared in the census on 2 April 1911 in Cawsand, Cornwall aged 54.6 The address was: Garrett Sreet. On 2 April 1911 he was a Fisherman in Cawsand.6 He died in March 1936 in Kingsand. Francis Richard JAGO (1881-1942). Francis was born Q3 1881 in Millbrook. He appeared in the census in 1901 in Kingsand aged 19. The address was: Fore Street. Labourer in Coal Yard. Francis appeared in the census on 2 April 1911 in Cawsand aged 26.6 The address was: Garrett Sreet. On 2 April 1911 he was a Labourer General in Cawsand.6 He died in 1942 in St.Budeaux, Plymouth aged 60.7 The address was: 10 Ketley Way. He was buried on 28 March 1942 in Maker.7

Charles JAGO (1883-1885). Charles was born in 1883 in Millbrook. He died in 1885.

John Henry JAGO (1886-1923). John was born on 23 September 1886 in Cawsand. He appeared in the census in 1901 in Kingsand aged 14. The address was: Fore Street. Grocers Errand Boy. John married Bessie SPURRELL Q2 1908 in Plymouth, Devon. He appeared in the census on 2 April 1911 in Kingsand aged 23.8 The address was: 4 Higher Row. On 2 April 1911 he was a Dockyard Labourer in Kingsand aged 23.9 He died on 12 May 1923 in Millbrook.

He was buried on 6 October 1951 in Maker.

William Henry JAGO (1891-1955). William was born Q3 1891 in Kingsand. He was baptised on 16 July 1891 in Maker. He appeared in the census in 1901 in Kingsand aged 9. The address was: Fore Street. He appeared in the census on 2 April 1911 in Cawsand aged 18.6 The address was: Garrett Sreet. On 2 April 1911 he was a Labourer in Cawsand.6 He died in 1955.

Kathleen JAGO (1893- ). Kathleen was born in 1893 in Kingsand. She was baptised on 5 March 1894 in Maker. She appeared in the census in 1901 in Kingsand aged 7. The address was: Fore Street.
